Winter Break Track Camp

This camp is a great way to get ready for the upcoming season!!! This camp will teach you warm ups, exercises, and drills that will help you improve in your event area!
Rice Winter Track Camp Information- December 29th
1:00pm- Introductions and Instructions
1:10pm- General Group Warm Up
1:25pm- Break Up into Groups
1:30-2:00pm- Event Specific Warm Up Drills
2:00-3:00pm- Technical Explanation and Drills
3:00-4:00pm- Specific Exercises to Develop Event Specific Strength
4:00-4:30pm- Competition Considerations (Handling Weather, Equipment, Competition Hydration, Nutrition etc.)
4:30-4:50pm- Mental Skills
4:50-5:00pm- Closing Thoughts
What to wear: Wear athletic clothes and shoes, please bring spikes or event shoes if you have them!
THE CAMP WILL TAKE PLACE RAIN OR SHINE. WE WILL MOVE INSIDE IN THE CASE OF INCLIMATE WEATHER!!!
